Family & Group Haven near Downtown Retreat

Positives: Close to the city, about 20 minutes depending on traffic. 5 bedrooms, good size. Includes parking. Negatives: The whole place needs to be painted, there’s stains and marks on all walls. Multiple parts of the walls have holes in it and needs repair. Showers are very old and there as visible mold on the corners. The photos in the listing don’t show the areas of disrepair. I wouldn’t rent here again, but I am not sure if this is the quality to expect for the price as we stayed in Boston for the first time. This all could be very normal for the price. That’s why I am giving this a 3 star review.

The host was very responsive and our stay was great. Very easy check in, would recommend.

Kitchen: Very limited items for cooking, however, when we asked for eating utensils and pots/pans, they were delivered the same day. The kitchen is not equipped for cooking in. The main floor had a hole in the wall, the front and back of the house were full of trash. Four out of five bedrooms did not have smoke detectors; although the outlet was in the ceiling. We reported it the first day; nothing was done.

Good amount of space, bedrooms were roomy, space was clean. The off street parking was very easy and spacious! Easy check in and check out.
