Skyrise Two Stories - Spacious for Friends & Family

Very central, close to trains and restaurants. Highly recommend for larger groups. All 6 of us had our own bed and was comfortable. Great if you want to go to Fenway or downtown to see the sights.

The property is not accurately described in the listing and was missing several double beds, which was a significant issue for our stay. The host advised that the property came with sheets; however, the sheets were dirty and stained. Many of the beds were missing top sheets and the comforters were also stained and did not have covers. The bathroom upstairs was dirty and the shower curtain was in pieces. The handrail outside to enter the property was rusted and broken in the middle, with shards of rusted pieces sticking out, and some of our guests were almost injured on it when coming back at night. One of our guests had difficulty accessing the premises due to the lack of handrail coupled with steep steps. The rental is above a shop in a very noisy part of Brookline. The exterior of the property is dingy, dirty and has lots of trash. The furniture is dilapidated and the shades are broken throughout the property. It looks like numerous large parties have occurred at the property and there are marks/stains on the walls. The upstairs bedrooms have dirty skylights with no shades, and the rooms are very bright first thing. Due to the lack of beds, some guests had to spend the night on the floor in the living room. We vacated the property after our first night and got hotel rooms. We would have left earlier than that, but were unable to arrange alternative accommodations the first night. It is the worst VRBO property that I have ever stayed in.

The noise warning in the check in directions was received far past my cancellation date and the skylight was directly above the bed. The noise and the light made it impossible to sleep. The listing was for 10 people, but there’s an additional fee when booking more than 5 people. Communication about this was impossible and the “manager” blamed VRBO for this additional/hidden fee. The shower curtain was 2 feet short and cut in half. The bedding and towels were cheap and old. Laundry was left in the dryer from the previous stay. Paid way too much for this place. If you can stay somewhere else, please do!
